Why do all these alleged Alien abductions happen in Red States?

Most reported alleged alien abductions happen in Red states. Usually somewhere down South, like Arkansas where Bubba and Clem report getting probed by aliens when they were out hunting up some lunch. Why is it that these Conservative states seem to get the most alien abductions? Is it the probing?
