Why can't the man ever be the more spoiled or protected one?

I don' t know how old you are, but evidently you haven't taken a good look around lately. Spoiling is a thing of the past. Women are forced to hold their own in order to hold their families together. And protection? HA! Maybe the girls in your life act as if they are spoiled, but grown women don't have that luxury, nor do most of us want it. The days of being taken care of are over, thank goodness.
